chosen sector in the field of accountancy by Group 1 but before that let
me define first what is teaching-

Accounting profession has 4 different sector and one of those is the
field of teaching or the academe, the other three is the commerce and
industry which is the private side of accounting, government which
includes BIR, department of budget bureau of treasury and public
practice in which CPA works
Unfortunately based on the statistics conducted within our group no
one chose the sector of academe/education same as the commerce
and industry. Majority of the group members chose the sector of public
practice and there’s a lone member who chose government. This could
mean that public practice is very in demand in the accounting
profession and the reason for this is it caters variety of scope in the
field such as accounting, taxation, and auditing. All of them wants to
have a full time job as it constitutes steady income, fixed schedule,
insurance, social security and many more benefits that a part time
couldn’t have. To conclude choosing the right sector for you in the field
of accounting varies on how you would want to see your self someday.
Every sector has a lot to offer and we must explore every possibilities
and opportunities.
