Employer 1

Ans 1: financial technology

Ans 2: I work in finance, it's obvious to me. I noticed

that whether they have it or not, a financial person can
be a guy who can negotiate a salary or something. I'd
say that usually comes down to a confidence thing. I
feel like you know, people that are more confident and
know what they bring even right out of school are more
comfortable negotiating salary in my experience as
opposed to tying it to financial literacy.

Ans 3: I think that should be 100%.

Ans 4: it's not explicitly a factor I'm looking for per se,
but it's like an assumed face skill set to be able to
operate in our company. For sure

Ans 5: we do have professional development

opportunities throughout the week and offer them in the
starting hire of the week.

Ans 6: Mandatory

Ans 7: we do have a lot of 401K and retirement

planning the next level of that is mandatory.
Employer 2:

Ans 1: We are in public accounting.

Ans 2: Honestly, with our work, it's required to even get in

for an interview.

Ans 3: Yeah, it’s a requirement.

Ans 4: Very important

Ans 5: For people not operating in the accounting sectors

we have a mandatory course.

Ans 6: Everyone must attend it.

Ans 7: The employee fills for taxes by himself.

Employer 3:

Ans 1: We are in the education industry.

Ans 2: So, I don't participate in the actual hiring process.

I'm here as a representative for my organization.

Ans 3: Again, I don’t have much knowledge about it.

Ans 4: oh no it's fine. We don’t really look much into

financial literacy of the applicant.

Ans 5: We offer them workshops regarding taxes and

other whatnot about the industry.

Ans 6: It is not mandatory and so not a lot of people join

them.

Ans 7: We file both federal and state taxes for them.

Employer 4

Ans 1: We work in House leasing and renting agency

Ans 2: I personally can differentiate between candidates;

their confidence and body language are something I look
more into.

Ans 3: I personally would prefer someone who is literate

as he will be able to take better decisions while
formulating team and taking budget decisions.

Ans 4: In our line of work, I would say 6 on 10.

Ans 5: No, we don’t offer any such education.

Ans 6: No such education.

Ans 7: We files taxes for them.

Employer 5:

Ans 1: We work in the Wine industry.

Ans 2: Yes, we can tell whether a candidate has financial

education or not. Well, just 20 years of experience helps it.

Ans 3: It does not really matter much in our field.

Ans 4: Not important I would personally prefer he not be

able to negotiate more.

Ans 5: We don’t really offer any services of this type to our

employers.

Ans 6: They are not offered by our company.

Ans 7: We fill federal, state and 401k taxes for them.
