7:02PM Intro To WHNA and Opening of Meeting. Everyone on our board is elected and volunteer.
7:04PM Elections are in June.
7:06PM Officer Hannah with the Police Report.
7:07PM Hannah has been trying to look into some of the parking problems on the street. She also
helped someone in a park shelter get to a homeless shelter.
7:08PM Violent crime is down for the last 2 years, but Garage robberies are up.
7:11PM Traffic and Parking Enforcement officers are available, they’ve hired more, even.
7:13PM Traffic cameras are an actual parking ticket, you do have to pay them. No points assessments.

7:23PM Kroger’s Community Rewards program has been HIGHLY effective. If you haven’t specified
your points to us, we get Kroger funds based on your purchasing.
7:24PM Lowe’s bills for the arena and pizza caused us to spend $321.28.

7:25PM Report for the project starts President’s Report.
7:26PM Skilled labor and costs was $70,000, had the city had to do it. We spent $10,000.
7:27PM April 22nd, there is a Living City Project group wanting to do a city wide cleanup. Saturday
March 18th, we are cleaning Steve Whalen Blvd, the park at Highland, and Wyoming Avenue.
7:28PM Adults are needed to help with guidance.
7:29PM Starting at 8:30AM this saturday.
7:30PM Wyoming and Steve Whalen is our corridor in transition. Please come and join us.
7:34PM MOTION to get 6 dozen or up to $100 of doughnuts for Saturday the 18th work day by Valerie

7:39PM Every door direct mailer. Use Community Engagement Grant for it.
7:40PM Grant is $1,000 dollars.
7:41PM LiveInDayton.com would be linked from our page to help people find their own neighborhood
if they aren’t in our neighborhood.
7:47PM Welcome Dayton created a panel of groups with New Daytonians. It is outside of our hands.
7:49PM Clebber Utska and their group of soccer folks don’t even live in our neighborhood.
7:50PM Widening and Repaving is supposed to happen in 2024.
7:51PM Committees are our primary source of new engagement.
7:52PM Parks Committee is needing new leadership. Digital Media also needs additional leadership
help. Mary Sue Gmeiner is going to speak about her new committee.
7:53PM Sustainability Resilience Team.
7:54PM It’s all about helping each other and building more connectivity on resiliency in disasters and
other situations.
7:55PM CPR and other medical Training, perhaps. Gardening and other things, also.

volunteers for it. Feel free to volunteer.
8:05PM Michelle Gruber had their Cultural Dinner again at the Elementary School again.
8:06PM Carnival at the elementary school in May.
8:07PM Cleveland PK needs soil and volunteers to help them maintain their garden.
8:08PM Mission of Mary needs to get rid of surplus seeds, maybe the Elementary School should
contact them.

8:19PM Spray park may be replaced, but we haven’t seen any progress on it.
