Nouns

Parts of houses and


apartment buildings
Bathroom can I go to the bathroom

Bathtub a container large enough for a person to sit in to take a bath

Bedroom The house has four bedrooms, so it's pretty big

Closet a small room or space in a wall where you can store things such as clothes,
sheets.
Dining room Breakfast is served in the dining room from 8.30-10.
Elevator a piece of equipment, usually in the form of a small room, that carries people
or goods straight up and down in tall buildings
(first/second) floor Don't sit on the floor - you might dirty your dress.

Hall a building or large room used for events involving a lot of people
