AIN1501/Assess Plan/S1/2023
There are a few key notes to keep in mind for the assessments:
1) Don't underestimate the volume of the content for AIN1501 Module. This module has quite a bit of content to work
through & it is important to thoroughly work through the material before you attempt the assessment. The more familiar
you are with the content, the more comfortable you will be when completing it.
2) The Module is a continuous assessment Module with no supplementary assessment or exams.
3) The assessment approach for you to pass the Module, is that you must complete and submit all compulsory 6 timed
MCQ assessments.
4) All questions are randomly selected, which means that each assessment will have different set of questions for each
attempt you make.
5) The following of the processes:
6) Read through the question more than once before answering to ensure you understand what the question is asking you.
7) Remain calm. Do not panic and rush through the assessment. You have more than enough time to get through the
questions. So, take a deep breath - you've got this!
8) As an emphasis: try not to leave the assessment until the closing day. You have roughly 4 to 5 days within which to
submit the assessment including weekends. If you experience internet/power/system issues you will still have time to
complete the assessment if you have not left it until the closing day. Please ensure you are aware of the Loadshedding
Schedule for your area in order not to miss submitting your assessment.
9) Keep in mind what you need to successfully complete the assessment - a quiet area, internet connection, and power.
Plan ahead & make sure you have selected an appropriate place to complete your assessment.
10) Keep in mind that you need to participate in the e-Tutor activities and Discussion Forum as your participation is very
important for you to successfully pass the Module. Thus, you will need to share your own ideas as this aid your deep
learning and understanding of the content.
11) Please ensure that you submit the MCQ assessments on time.
12) If we have national load shedding, make sure you are aware of timings for your area. This is to prevent starting the
assessment & being cut off while you are busy.
Good Luck!!!
