    • This short story made me realize that we should be always


    optimistic, whatever happens. Keep moving forward. Do not depend the
    span of our life in anything, unlike Johnsy’s did.
    • When we have to make a decision, we should think about the
    people around us, not just only for the benefit ourselves.
    • Weakness can’t stop us from living a good and happy life. Just trust
    in God for He has reasons on everything that happens.
    • Everyday, we encounter different struggles that God has given us to
    learn something new from it.
    • The story also teaches us the value of life and that we are here to
    accomplish something meaningful and be good to others while we live.
