The meeting began at 9:21 a.m. with an opening prayer conducted by Ms. Abila.

Proceedings:

1. New Business

1.1 Academic Matters

1.1.1 The presiding officer reiterated that attendance should be checked by

the class coordinator at the start of the class.


1.2 Discussion of the Disadvantages of Distance Learning

1.2.1 The introductory discussion concerning the drawbacks of having a

distance learning was led by the presiding officer. Everyone was asked to

give some of their expertise and experiences on the said matter. The 1A1

students then began to discuss their thoughts and opinions.

1.2.2 The responses provided by 1A1 students include the following

statements:

● Inability to Focus on Screen -Reyes

● Unclear Information -Salazar

● Distraction of Social Media, Lacking in Social Skills -Ballarda

● Financial Problem -Marquez

● Lack of Resources -Mararac

● Difficulties Connecting with the Instructors -Adsuara

● Difficulties in Coping Up -Quibot

● High Chances of Distraction -Malutao

● Internet Connection Problem -Canillo

● Lack of Focus -Mangadang

● Pressure and Stress -Guiruela

● The Need of Immediate Feedback -Lingon

● Unstable Internet Connection -Abila, Arrogancia

● Easy access on cheating techniques -Almario

● Difficulties on Parent’s Side -Constantino


The presiding officer agreed with and expounded on all of the student's

views in each statement to make them more understandable.

1.3 Addressing the Given Issues

1.3.1 The presiding officer initiated the discussion regarding resolving the

problems raised by the students in the preceding session for the meeting's

second agenda. The 1A1 students then proceeded to express their ideas for

answers to the challenges.

1.3.2 The responses provided by 1A1 students to addressing the difficulties

of distant learning include the following statements:

● Time Management (Addressing Pressure and Stress) -Guiruela

● Self Learning with the help of Youtube (Addressing Difficulties in

Coping Up) -Quibot

● Do all Tasks Immediately (Addressing Procrastination) -Abila

● Long Patience on the Internet (Addressing Internet Problem)

It is still students’ responsibility to make up for the missed lessons.

We should still prioritize our study more than work.. Make sure that

you are working because you have to sustain your academic lives.

It just has to do with our self discipline and responsibility. -Seconder

● Avoid Lot of Question from Instructors (Addressing Teacher’s

Also one of the challenges that teachers are facing in distance

learning. At the end of the class, instructors wanted to address

everything about students’ concerns but students are not asking

and will flood pm’s.

2. Announcement

2.1 The presiding officer announced that the students of 1A1 will be having an

asynchronous learning for the next meeting, November 17, 2021.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:55 a.m. Hence, the presiding officer declared the

adjournment with a closing prayer to be led by Mr.Guiruela.
