Internship Policy

Department of Computer Engineering

Internship training is a mandatory requirement for B. Sc. Computer Engineering
degree program. All students of the Department are required to complete internship
training of at least 6 weeks during third or fourth year of the study. Students are
also required to submit their internship certificates from employers after the
successful completion of training. The following points summarize the internship
policy of the Department:

1. Internship duration must be 6-8 weeks; an internship less than 6 weeks will
not be acceptable;
2. Internship should be completed in the relevant field
(Software/Hardware/Networking etc.);
3. Students are required to submit internship certificates from their respective
employers, at the completion of training. The internship certificates must
contain:
a. The full company address with the company logo;
b. Company’s Email address;
c. Company’s website;
d. Company’s Phone and Fax numbers;
e. Designation/position of the internee and responsibilities carried out
must be specified during internship.
4. It is mandatory for students to submit internship report to the Department;
5. The Departmental internship committee shall conduct interview of the
students at the time of final report submission for their evaluation;
6. Students are required to submit Employer Feedback Form along with the
internship reports and certificates to the Department.
