Greetings from Chemineers Society, IIT Kanpur! Our Society is a group of active and enthusiastic Chemical
Engineers who help fellow students develop social, academic and industry relations as they advance through their
academic journey.
 
We are beyond excited to announce that we will be holding the first ever Chemical Engineering Fest at IIT Kanpur
named “Exergy”. 
Exergy is the annual Chemical Engineering fest, organized by Chemineers Society, Department of Chemical
Engineering, IIT Kanpur. For us, the concept of Exergy transcends the realm of thermodynamics. It serves as a
representation of realizing our full potential as students of Chemical Engineering, and we aspire to attain this goal
through the fest.
 
We are hosting a plethora of events spread across dates 31st March to 2nd April. These include industry talks,
Poster presentations, software workshops, industrial hackathons, competitions and many more. The
opportunities are endless and our purpose is to provide multiple avenues for improvement and stimulation.

Total prizes worth Indian Rupees 3 lakh+ are at stake. Go and register for the competitions!
 
We are organizing a variety of workshops on industrially important softwares like as MATLAB, Python, Aspen,
Mathematica etc. These workshops are designed to help you develop your skills in various software applications,
which are crucial in today's technological world. The workshops will be conducted by experts in their respective
fields who will provide you with valuable insights into the software applications. They will cover topics such as
introduction to the software, basic and advanced features, and real-world applications.
The workshops will take place online, and you can participate from anywhere with an internet connection. All you
need is a computer, laptop, and the software installed on your device.
 
The schedule for the workshops is as follows:
MATLAB: March 20th - March 21st, 5-8 PM (Speaker: Mathworks Team)
 
Python: March 27th - March 28th, 7-9 PM (Speaker: Professor at UGM Indonesia)
 
Aspen: March 14th - March 15th, 5-8 PM (Speaker: Aaharya Technologies)
 
Mathematica: March 24th - March 25th, 2-5 PM (Speaker: Mathematica Team)
