Subject: Remote Technical Writer Position

On September 6, 2022, I received notice of the opening of a Remote Technical Writer position
for Amazon LLC on the platform LinkedIn. This opening requires a dynamic, self-motivated
individual who succeeds in both independent and collaborative environments. I believe I would
be an excellent fit for this position and have selected it for this assignment.

Within a technical writing role, it is necessary to possess both, “Writing ability and technical
prowess,” as the job description lists. It is equally important to possess time-management skills
and ambition when working remotely for a corporation with high prestige such as Amazon and
its Prime team, which manages over 12 million products. For this position, it is expected that I
would write getting started guides, FAQs, reference materials, internal customer service content,
and content guides. I am able to complete similar projects individually under tight deadlines
while still producing high-quality results. This has been exemplified particularly by my
completion of news stories and speeches within a quick turnaround time.

Next year, I will complete my Bachelor of Arts in English and Communication with experience
in writing, editing, and publishing. Throughout my education, I have showcased an ability to
meet deadlines, thrive under pressure, and interact positively with other individuals, both within
and outside of the classroom. For this particular role, Amazon is seeking applicants who exhibit
superior communication skills. By interacting with a diverse range of student organizations and
holding several executive positions, I have demonstrated my ability to communicate and
collaborate with others. Overall, I am suited well for this position and therefore have prepared
materials for my application.

Enclosed are my cover letter, résumé, and references catered to this particular role.
