Case Study- Problem statement

Problem Statement: Landmark group is looking to establish a sustainable business model based on the concept
of REUSE, RECYCLE, REDUCE for its Apparel business. When we say sustainability, it means that the clothes
sourced should be used ones (RE-USE), they should be RE-CYCLED in a manufacturing facility to RE-DUCE the
carbon footprint

Deliverables: Candidate has to answer the below questions


1. Whole business model presented through a Value Chain spanning from Apparel sourcing -> manufacturing ->
distribution from suppliers to warehouse and ultimately to stores/E-commerce
2. How to ensure the quality of re-cycled products?
3. How to market the RE-CYCLED products in stores/E-commerce?
4. Legal implications of marketing the other brands, if any?
Case Study- Team guidelines

1. Case study is open to all first- year MBA students (BATCH of 2022-2024)
2. The team can be of min 1 or max 2 students
3. Each student is allowed to register for one team ONLY
4. Students can be from any specialization
5. Inter-campus participation is not allowed
Case Study- Submission deadline and format

1. There is only one round in the competition


2. The format for the submission is a 3-slider/pager pdf
3. Assumptions are allowed but should be stated clearly
4. Please quote your sources of information
5. Students must submit their solution to case study to Placement committee (submission will mean
that the students have registered to case study as well as there is no separate registration)
6. All deliverables must be done in English
7. Only submissions before the deadline will be considered
8. The selected teams/individuals will have to present it to the Landmark group team via Zoom,
MS teams etc.
9. The judging criteria are
1. Ideation
2. Creative and Structured thinking
3. Research
4. Scalability
5. Feasibility
