1. Pretend that you are a nurse who working in patient department and giving
health education about Hypertension,  How to delivery this hypertension topic
to the patient?

nurse: hello, good afternoon mrs naila

patient: good afternoon

nurse: i'm nurse dilla, i will provide counseling to mrs. naila about hypertension

nurse: do you bring your identity card?

patient : yes, take it

nurse: may I borrow your identity card?

patient: yes, you can

Nurse: Miss naila, how are you today?

Patient: I’am fine

Nurse: ok miss naila, in about 30 minutes we will discuss the risks that will arise
if you are irregular in taking hypertension medication, how do you agree?

Patient: agreed

Nurse: All right then, do you want to convey your problems or experiences
while taking antihypertensive medication?

Patient: I'm afraid whether taking this drug continuously will actually worsen
my disease, so I stop taking it when my blood pressure is within normal limits,
miss

Nurse: okay, I'll explain why it's important to take anti-hypertensive medication
continuously. Hypertension can be divided into two, namely primary and
secondary. Primary hypertension is also called essential hypertension, that is,
the cause is not known with certainty, while secondary hypertension is
hypertension that is caused by other diseases, for example kidney failure and
others. Risk factors for hypertension include age, race, family background,
smoking, consuming too much sodium salt, being overweight/obese, consuming
too much alcohol, stress and others. If hypertension is not controlled, it can
cause serious complications including kidney failure, stroke, heart failure, and
eye damage (cardio myopathy). The best way to avoid complications of
hypertension is to regulate your diet/eating patterns such as low in salt, low in
cholesterol and saturated fat, increasing consumption of fruits and vegetables,
not consuming alcohol and cigarettes, also by taking hypertension drugs
regularly according to doctor's recommendations.

Patient: so I have to continue taking antihypertensive medication regularly?

Nurse: yes, so that no more severe complications occur, so even though the
blood pressure is normal it doesn't mean you shouldn't take medication anymore

Patient: Just taking medication will my blood pressure be regular, ma'am?

Nurse: We recommend that you also prevent complications apart from taking
medication by adjusting your diet/eating pattern such as low salt, low
cholesterol and saturated fat, increasing fruit and vegetable consumption, not
consuming alcohol and cigarettes

Patient: O., so besides taking medication I also have to do activities to prevent

complications that will occur even though my blood pressure is normal

Nurse: How did you understand and be clear with my explanation? Is there
anything else you'd like to ask?

Patient: Thank you miss for the explanation

Nurse: You're welcome, so mothers must regularly take medication as directed

by the doctor to prevent complications and maintain blood pressure within
normal limits, even though it is within normal limits does not mean that you
have to end the medication that has been prescribed

Patient: okay miss, I will continue my drug therapy as prescribed even though
my blood pressure is within normal limits and I will also carry out activities that
support prevention so that further complications do not occur

Nurse : yes, good, if you can do something like that, it will also reduce the
costs incurred for other therapies caused by complications caused by
complications from hypertension

Patient: yes I understand, I will do just that

Nurse: Thank you, it doesn't feel like we have been discussing this together for
30 minutes, we are done with this meeting, if the next day there are those who
still feel unsure about taking medication regularly, we can have another
meeting.
