I chose this field for my career as I have keen interest in knowing how mass
media works and I want to pursue the same as my lifetime career in future. I am
an extrover and definately have most of its qualities. I am outgoing, have high
self-esteem, gets energized by being around other people, socially confident and
enjoy being in large social gatherings or public speaking and likes to be friends
with everyone around me but due to my strong personality people often
perceive me as a rude individual.
I like to explore new places new cafes new markets etc around me. I will never
say no to going out and having fun. As much as I love being outdoors on
somedays all I crave is staying in bed for the whole day. Since this transition
from school to college happened am finding it extremely happening and
benefitting for myself.
ASSIGNMENT NO.2
Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Today, I would like to talk to you about
the acceptance of the LGBTQ community in Indian society. The LGBTQ
community, which stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer,
have been marginalized and discriminated against for far too long. It is time for
us as a society to accept and embrace diversity in all its forms, including sexual
orientation and gender identity.
In India, homosexuality was criminalized under Section 377 of the Indian Penal
Code, which was a colonial-era law. In 2018, the Supreme Court of India finally
struck down Section 377, recognizing the rights of the LGBTQ community and
paving the way for acceptance and equality.
Despite this progress, the LGBTQ community still faces discrimination and
stigma in many areas of life, including in the workplace, in healthcare, and in
their families. This is unacceptable and needs to change. We must all work
together to create a more inclusive and accepting society.
We must also work to create safe spaces for the LGBTQ community. This
includes places where they can socialize and connect with others, as well as
places where they can access healthcare and other essential services.
Nationalism is the belief in the unity and strength of a nation, and the desire to
promote its interests and culture. In India, nationalism sentiment has played a
significant role in shaping the country's political and social landscape.
India's nationalism movement began in the late 19th century, as Indian leaders
began to call for greater autonomy and self-government from British colonial
rule. This movement was led by figures such as Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal
Nehru, and Sardar Patel, who advocated for non-violent resistance and civil
disobedience as a means to achieve independence.
