children.
 Women taking on male-orientated fields of work such as
construction work.
 Men taking on female dominated work areas such as hairstylist
and fashion designer
 Women in politics/leadership positions
 Men attending social meetings/gatherings.

Constitutional Monarchy

 A government where the head of state is the king/queen hence


the name monarchy
 The next head of state is hereditarily from ruler to ruler of the
monarchy/royal family
 Citizens do not have the ability to contest the laws implemented
by the monarchy.
 Laws oriented for the benefit of the monarchy.
 Monarchy is the representative of the state.

Republic

 A government where the head of state is


Voted for by the people
 Citizens have the ability to contest the laws implemented by the
government
 The laws made benefits the people and the government (equality)
