Each and every one of us has our own lives, with this, we can conclude also that our experiences are also different. Each
of us here in this room has experienced pain, disappointment, and chaos in our lives. It can be because of so many
things- Family problems, Peer pressure, relationship issues, and self-doubt. But although we are to be made different,
there will always be things that we all have in common and that I know this will bring all of us together.

Upon sharing our experiences about the times in our lives, when we’ve encountered God. I first noticed that we share
different lifestyles and on different viewpoints. Our experiences were also different, while one of us suffered physical
abuse from family, another suffered eating disorders caused by family problems and peer pressure.

One suffered physical abuse from certain family members. Few of us have met pain because of discouragement words
heard from parents and other relatives, some of us were also victims of financial abuse from our relatives that we felt
neglected and unworthy.

Most of us have trouble coping up with the pain and this mostly have led us to depression and anxiety. This is what I was
talking about all of us having things that are in common. This is the pain we’ve felt from trying to be ourselves, trying to
be better on a crooked path. But still we are proud to stand here knowing we’ve survived the urge to commit suicide.

All of us encountered/prayed to God when we were at our lowest. When everything seemed to be hopeless and heavy.
And this also justifies that most of us, don’t really rely on something or someone when we know we can do it. We tend
to be more submissive on the things we know are helpful to us when we’re struggling and confused. And God is one of
those therapy whose medicines are infinite and true. Whose power, love and grace can heal all of the brokenhearted.

And here I stand for our stories to be heard, that we may share God’s loving grace to all of those who are struggling.

And remember Matthew 11:28 – “28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
