USER MANUAL FOR BHUMIPUTRA PORTAL

A home user/citizen can apply for the caste certificate through Bhumiputra Portal (
https://bhumiputra.assam.gov.in/) in by following the below steps:

1. Visit the website (https://bhumiputra.assam.gov.in/).

2. On clicking the Login button option to create a new account & login page for
already existing user will appear.

3. Once registration process is done by a new user , login with username and
password

4. After successful login, options for applying new application, track

application , download certificate & Details of supporting documents will
appear.

5. Download the manual application form & provide required details on it .Scan a copy of
the form which need to be uploaded as supporting document section of the online
application form. Click on New application tab for applying a fresh application of Caste
certificate

Details of supporting documents are as follows
• Applicant's Photo .
• Proof of Date of Birth.
(One of Birth Certificate/Aadhar Card/PAN/Admit Card issued by any recognized Board
of Applicant).
• Proof of Residence(One of Permanent Resident Certificate/Aadhar Card/EPIC/Land
Document/Electricity Bill,Ration Card of Applicant or Parent) .
• Caste certificate of father/ Recommendation of authorize caste/tribe/community
organization notified by state Government
• Any other document ( Voter List, Affidavit ,Existing Caste Certificate etc.
• Upload Scanned Copy of the Application Form

6. Fill up the application details and submit the application

7. After successful submission of application an acknowledgement receipt will be generated

8. After successful submission of application ,it will land in the account of concern officer
for processing.
 9. Application can be track and certificate can be downlodable from portal itself by clicking
on track application tab and download certificate tab respectively

10. On clicking track application follow the below mentioned steps

11. A digitaly signed certificate will provided to the citizen
