Low Auto Lube
E234 (1)  Refer to M0079258  Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting ,
Grease level 
Autolube. 
Charge Pressure was observed going abnormally low during
operation. Thisis an indication of potential pump failure or wearout.
Machine damage may occur if the machine continues to run,
even at idle.
Step 1: Check the charge filter for material such as brass or other
metal particles. If metal is found, inspect the pump and motors.
Step 2: Check the charge pressure at 1800 rpm engine speed, with
the gear selector in NEUTRAL. Fully press the left pedal and check
charge pressure in both FORWARD and REVERSE at high idle. If

E283 (2)  low, contact your Cat dealer Technical Communicator (TC). For

Network (DSN).
Step 3: If no problems were found, download a Product Status
Report (PSR) and engine data file. Contact your Cat dealer
Technical Communicator (TC). For further assistance, your TC can
confer with the Dealer Solutions Network (DSN) to determine if this
is a trend, or a one-time occurrence.
Step 4: Investigate for reverse fan solenoid or brake charging
issues. 
Low Brake
E284 Same logic as E1561 (2S), but only occurs when the warning is
Accumulator
(2S)  ignored and the machine speed exceeds 8 kph (5 mph). 
Pressure 
Immediate Safe Shut Down of Machine Required.
Activates when the brake system pressure drops below the
BRAKE ACCUMULATOR PRESSURE LOW threshold for 2
seconds. One of the following pre-conditions must also be met:

1. The engine has been running stable for 60 sec.

2. The engine exceeded the BRAKE ACCUMULATOR PRESSURE
Low Brake OK threshold after engine cranking.
E284 (3)  Accumulator
Pressure  Brake accumulator pressure OK threshold for 926 / 930 is
11721 kPa (1700.01 psi).
Brake accumulator pressure OK threshold for 938 is 12058 kPa
(1749 psi).
Brake accumulator LOW threshold for 926 / 930 is 10515 kPa
(1525.1 psi).
Brake accumulator LOW threshold for 938 is 10852 kPa
(1574 psi). 
E329 (2)  Transmission Filter Activates when the transmission oil filter bypass switch has been
Plugged  bypassing for 5 or more seconds with transmission oil temperature
> 50° C (122° F)and engine running.
Event deactivates with machine shutdown or switches no longer
bypassing.

Transmission filter is plugged or restricted - replace the filter.
