PERCEPTUAL
BLOCKS
The perceptual blocks are
based in learning and habit. We
become accustomed to
perceiving things in familiar
ways, and it is difficult to see
new meanings, relationships, or
applications and uses.
CULTURAL
BLOCKS
Cultural blocks amount to
social influence,
expectations, and conformity
pressures, all based on social
or institutional norms. The
result is aloss of individuality
and creativity.
