Installing OMG onto a MediaGrid Content
Director
To also verify it is installed, if you type ‘omver’ you will now see the Firmware Version and
other CLD details.

After installing OMG it will copy all the scripts in /opt/omg directory. Before upgrading
OMG tools first remove the old version

When you uninstall OMG it does not remove any of the logs, backups or data gathered. It
leaves that information in the /omneon/omg directory.
