Sir Theodore Felding leaves his estate of Linden Grange, along with all financial investments and the grounds, to his cousin Lord Anthony Stewart in his will. He leaves his gardening tools to his faithful servant Thomas and provides an annual payment of £150 to Mrs. Lions as long as she maintains her employment at Linden Grange due to a strange clause in the law. The estate is recommended for an immediate financial appraisal as it has not been assessed in several years.

l To my noble cousin, Lord Anthony Stewart, is left all but the compensational holdings mentioned forthwith. His inheritance therefore includes Linden Grange itself, the grounds, and all other financial investments in connection with my estate. As the estate has not been appraised in several years, an immediate financial estimation of the grounds and house is recommended.
To faithful Thomas, I leave his trusted garden tools, including his
excellent collection of spades. May he use them well and as thoroughly as he has previously done. I also give him leave to retrieve and retain his personal belongings located in or around the grounds. Finally, to Mrs. Lions, I provide for after an interesting manner. Due to a strange clause in the law, she cannot be provided for during my lifetime; after my decease, however, she may receive £150 per annum as long as she maintains her employment at Linden Grange.
