CONTENTS:
1. Brief Introduction to Micro-Project
A Telephone Billing System is a software application that is designed to manage the billing
and payment process for telephone services. It allows service providers to track the usage of
their customers and generate bills based on the amount of usage. Java's built-in database
connectivity APIs, such as JDBC, can be used to connect to a database and store customer
information and usage data. The system can also include basic security measures, such as
authentication and authorization, to ensure that only authorized users can access the
system and its data.
2. Aim of the Micro-Project
This Micro-Project aims at:
1. Designing and implementing a database to store customer information and call details.
2. Developing a user interface that allows customers to view their bills and call details.
3. Implementing billing algorithms to calculate charges based on call duration, time of day,
and other factors.
4. Literature Review
Developing activity networks for weather forecasting systems using UML activity diagrams.
methodology for developing activity networks for weather forecasting systems using UML activity
diagrams. The authors demonstrate the utility of the approach using a case study of a weather
forecasting system for a region in Algeria, and show that it can help to improve the software
engineering process by providing a clear understanding of the system's requirements and
functionality. activity networks can be a useful tool for software engineering in the context of
weather forecasting systems. By providing a clear visualization of the various tasks involved in the
development process and their dependencies, activity networks can help to improve the software
engineering process and ensure the successful delivery of a weather forecasting system.
5. Proposed Methodology
The first step in developing an activity network for a weather forecasting system is to identify the
system's requirements, including the data sources, the types of weather data to be collected, the
forecast accuracy and resolution, and the methods for displaying and disseminating the forecast
information. Using the information gathered in the previous steps, a network diagram can be
created to visualize the various tasks and their dependencies. The diagram should include nodes
representing the tasks and edges representing the dependencies between the tasks.
