Micro-Project Report

1.0 Rationale:
A test case document has a set of conditions or actions that are performed
on the software application in order to verify the expected functionality of
the feature. After test scripts, test cases are the second most detailed way
of documenting testing work. They describe a specific idea that is to be
tested, without detailing the exact steps to be taken or data to be used.

2.0 Aim of the Micro-Project:

The aim of the Micro Project is to study and analyze the test cases for
online payment application (PayPal).

3.0 Unit Outcomes :

a. Explain the characteristics of the software testing.

b. Prepare test cases for an online payment application (PayPal).

4.0 Literature Review:

Test case is a pair of input and output that will be executed by the tester whose
aim is to reveal the failures in software under test.
For decades this topic has become one of the most active topics in research on
software testing. It has been proved by a variety of techniques and diverse tools
proposed.
The aim of this study is to give an up-to-date and overview of research in test
case generation.

Effectiveness, reusability, flexibility, simplicity, time factors are some of the
most important aspects that need to be taken care of while designing test
cases.

9.0 Applications Of Micro-Project:

The purpose of a test case is to determine if different features within a system

are performing as expected and to confirm that the system satisfies all related
standards, guidelines and customer requirements. The process of writing a
test case can also help reveal errors or defects within the system.

10.0 Conclusion:
Testing the online payment application we got a thorough (tabular) analysis of
the application with few failures.
