League of God is a film about a historical period in Chinese culture - the late Shang and
early Zhou dynasties, integrated with elements of fantasy. Through the video trailer of this
film, viewers can easily recognize the development of Chinese cinema compared to the
world. Not to mention the content, we can see that there are many iconic characters in
Chinese culture in this movie such as Khuong Tu Nha, Ly Tinh, Na Tra, and Duong Tien,
they are all influential figures in Chinese religious beliefs. This film is also a way for them to
spread their culture to the world because for them it is a useful vehicle to accomplish that
purpose. Second in terms of image and sound quality as well as visual effects, through a
video of fewer than 3 minutes, audiences can clearly feel the heights of Chinese film
technology. Clear transmission images, rich attractive colours, suitable for mythological
themes, and vivid sound is a big plus for the success of the film. It is no exaggeration to say
that the Chinese film industry has a remarkable development, not even inferior to the giants
in the world of cinema like Hollywood. Last year, China's The Battle at Lake Changjin and
Hi, Mom took first place and two worldwide hits. Meanwhile, the Hollywood blockbuster
Fast & Furious 9: Legend of speed ranked third only. Regarding the content of the film, just
by watching a short trailer, we can also grasp the basic content of the film which is the fall of
the Shang Dynasty under the influence of the villainous forces, and the beginning of the war
a new regime flourished with the help of the righteous faction - the Zhou Dynasty. The
careful investment in costumes and the film's background made the critics unable to help but
admire.

Another thing in this trailer is the westernisation while retaining the character of
Chinese customs. It's possible that China wants to bring this film to the world in order for
people to accept it. Perhaps it was more difficult in the past because the costumes of the two
countries of the west and the east were incompatible. However, in this trailer, it has been
tailored to the two countries. And more and more people around the world can learn about
China or their culture through this film. That is most likely what China is attempting to
convey with this trailer: we are not the same as before, everything has improved, and you can
watch it to learn more about us. League Of Gods features both pros and negatives in addition
to its positives. The book Vu Vuong Punished Tru Comment served as the inspiration for the
League of Gods novel series, which was authored by Hua Trong Lam and Luc Tay Ninh.

Many Chinese myths and stories, including those involving gods, fairies, youkai, and
religion, are scattered throughout the text, which centres on the fall of the Shang Dynasty and
the establishment of the Zhou Dynasty.

League of Gods as an inspiration for numerous films, just like Tam Quoc Dien Nghia.
There are still some films that are regarded as failures in addition to quality ones that honour
the original, usually Phong Than Bang Truyen Ky. Jet Li, Fan Bingbing, Angelababy, and
Huynh Xiaoming are among the wonderful celebrity cast members of the 2016 Hong Kong
film The League Of Gods. Despite having a 350 million yuan budget, the viewer is left with
the idea that the work is really just a jumbled hot pot. Phong Than Bang Truyen Ky is
attacked for its ludicrous arrangement details in addition to the perception of the alleged
plagiarism and cookery from Hollywood blockbusters.

The shape of the characters in the movie was changed to better suit the content of the
movie. This is a creative idea to bring new images compared to the familiar ones because
they want to get rid of boredom. At the same time, inadvertently makes the characters in
history, whether imaginary or real, lose their inherent image. This affects people's knowledge
of historical figures. Losing traditional values as well as giving wrong understanding to the
people who watch the movie, specifically Chinese or foreigners. This may be a mistake
which occurred during film production.

Compared to the book Phong Than Dien Nghia, the major characters' shapes are a
little off. Dat Ky fox has nine tails, just like nine cobras. Thai At Chan Nhan was changed in
the movie from the benign higher fairy—described in the original as donning a white outfit
and sporting a white beard—to a dark fairy wearing black. Many viewers protested when the
familiar story with Chinese popular culture was distorted in a way that was difficult to accept.
This is because they do not research carefully, leading to the creation of characters that are
different from the principles. As a consequence, make the characters lose their inherent
identity values. This may also be the director's intention when they intentionally designed the
wrong character to cause controversy. This is because besides the praise, the controversial
things will stimulate the audience's curiosity, making the film more discussed. It is also a way
of marketing but in a negative way that the director wants to do to create popularity for the
film.

Summary, this video introduces a movie that is based on a famous story of China. It
shows martial arts and fantasy scenes. The film’s script is abstract with many beautiful, and
creative contexts where they invested a lot of time and money. All the actors are wonderful,
and their roles are perfect. Most of them are famous and have many experiences in acting,
with many scenes making viewers interested and nervous. One of the good things about this
film is the sound and soundtrack that attract the audience. Besides these strengths of the film,
there are also some arguments about the clothing of actors, and the change of traditional
content compared to the content of this film that can cause misunderstanding for the
audience.
