I am based in the sunny seaside town Scarborough which
has so many beautiful wedding venues on its doorstep.
Over the nine years, I have visited so many and love how
they have developed to create the best bridal
experience.
Gorgeous bridal suites with natural lighting and plenty
of space for all your bridal prep.
I regularly visit:
Raven Hall, Hackness Grange, Ox Pasture Hall, Sneaton
Castle, and Sandburn Hall, however... I love to visit new
venues around North Yorkshire, and will of course come
to your home if that is where you're getting ready on
your wedding morning!

Honestly? I've no idea when it comes to makeup! I'm in my mid-thirties and have no idea what some
products are or what they do! "I'll just do my own makeup on the day," I thought.

My Goodness. I am SO glad I rang Jess. Best call I made!

My sisters (who were my bridesmaids), my Mother, and I were all slightly apprehensive when Jess
popped over to my parent's house for the makeup trial. None of us had ever had anyone do anything
to our faces before and we're not ladies who wear heavy makeup.
Jess however immediately set us all at ease. She didn't approach us with a list of looks or what one
should do for a 'wedding look'. Over a brew, we laughed about slug brows and terrible 90's eyeshadows
and she took the time to understand what worked with our personalities, style, but also something that
we would be comfortable with.

She also took me through products she used as well as sending me links in case I wanted to use them
to touch anything up on the day or have them for future use. However, on the day, I didn't feel it was
necessary which also is a testament to her skill and the quality of products she uses.
Even now I look back at our wedding photos and think "wow, my face looks ace!!!"

Having your makeup done for your wedding day is such a personal
thing. Jess made me feel a like million dollars on that day.

And even on the morning getting ready, when there was a heavy downpour, the electricity went and
gusts of wind blew everything over, she kept us positive, kept us calm, and made me feel beautiful.
I honestly couldn't recommend Jess highly enough. She is incredibly skilled and talented at what she
does, and her kind and caring nature would cure anyone's pre-wedding nerves. She's simply amazing.

I offer one simple bridal package which you can then tailor
to your bridal party. There are only a couple of small details
I require, which are:

All brides are required to have a makeup trial. It is essential

for you to feel comfortable and happy in the makeup look for
your wedding day. The trial allows you to wear the makeup
all day to see how it lasts, sit on your skin and see how it
looks in different lights. Also, I like to discuss many aspects
of the day with you to help create your makeup look and
assist with any concerns regarding your skincare and
makeup.

I now have my own home studio (in Scarborough) where I

hold makeup trials. Please feel free to bring one or two of
your bridal party along for helpful opinions.

For any Saturday wedding between 1st May and 30th

September bookings can only be accepted with a minimum of
three people, for example, the bride, mother of the bride,
and a bridesmaid. This does not include flower girls.
