AND STORES
I’ll share a few recommendations about materials, tools, and stores.

Plywood
At Maderística we mainly use “Arauco Master Mueblería” because it’s a board that has no
knots or major defects on the surface. You can find the specifications of the board here.
In Chile, you can find it at Ferretería Okey.
TOOLS
Electric tools
I'll share a list of tools I think make good “first machines.” That is, they're ideal for starting
out on a good foot with carpentry: jig saw, circular saw, mill, trimmer, sander, electric drill.
Mills
I recommend Amana for professional mills. They’re the best on the market worldwide.
For a less intense use, the best alternative is the cheaper Timberline line. In Chile,
you can find both brands at “El Carpintero” hardware store.
MATERIALS
Surface finishing products
We use hard wax parquet oil from Borma Wachs for all of our furniture. In Chile
you can find it at Enko. Another alternative with similar features, which is a bit
more expensive but better known worldwide, is Osmo, a German product.
Other supplies
Screws, hinges, slides, drill bits, mills, and similar items can be found for a good
price at “El Carpintero” hardware store.
Our Aprons
Designed specially for us by The Working Mode.

Ear protectors
We love the protectors by SensGard because they're comfortable
and lightweight. You can use them with goggles with no problem.
