Environmental challenge refers to the existence of crises in the

environment in such a way that it can cause damage to man or his
environment.There are several environmental challenges and below will be
discussed a few of them and solutions to help combat these environmental
issues.
Firstly,Air pollution is one of the major environmental challenges,it
refers to the contamination of the indoor or outdoor environment by any
chemical,physical or biological agent that modifies the natural
characteristics of the atmosphere.This issue in return leads to many
respiratory issues for people such as asthma ,lung cancer and many others.
Secondly,another environmental challenge is deforestation.It refers to
the decrease in forest areas across the wortld that are lost for other uses
such as agricultural croplands,urbanization,or mining activities.This act
strips the soil of its nutrients causing the destruction of many soil living
organisms and their habitats leaving the land bare.
Thirdly,Climate challenge it deemed as a major environmentawl
challenge .It is a global or regional climate patterns ,attributed largely to
the increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide produced by the use of
fossil fuels.This causeds an increase in droughgt,hotter temperatures and
others.
However,there are many solutions to help resolve these environmental
challenges and they include;
To begin,inorder to help with our issue of air pollution strict laws
should be inforced to restrain or detain cars which release exhaust fumes
into the atmosphere,.Under the road traffic regulations,1974(li 952) in
Ghana 'No persons shall drive a motor vehicle which emits exhaust fumes
in such quantities as to be a hazard or annoyance to road users or
pedestrians.This is a law set aside to sanction all those who add to the air
pollution
Secondly,inorder to deal with our issues of deforestation government
should set aside pieces of land that could be used for industrial purposes
and encourage afforestation.This will help give back the land what has
been taken from it.In Ghana for instance the Forestry Commission which
is responsible for the protection of our forest and wildlife must insist that
all laws under that sector be obeyed and sanctions put against those whp
do not.
Thirdly,Countries can adopt many laws on climate that mandates that
your state cut its climate-damaging emissions to zero no later than
2050.there are many causes of climate change and if these factors are
reduced the issues such as drought,global warming and what not will be
curbed.This will all occur when laws are placed on the use of these factors
that could cause climate change.
In conclusion,although there are many environmental challenges there
are however solutions to help curb such challenges.
