1. Explain & describe the pitch, tone, volume and accent of the character’s voice.
Jack has a quite a deep pitch, with a serious tone. He usually speaks medium/loudish, and
has a British accent, mixed with a bit of a pirate accent.

2. Explain & describe the character’s actions, movements & gestures.

He has quite a bit of perpetual sea legs, which makes him walk quite weird, like he was
drunk.

3. Explain & describe the character’s facial expressions.

He has a straight and serious face, sometimes with a cheeky smile on his face. He looks
curious all the time.

4. Investigate and explain the character’s motivation & purpose.

His purpose is to get back his ship, the ‘Black Pearl’.

5. Describe the character’s appearance and costume.

He has braided hair, a sweaty face with dark eyeliner around his eyes. He also has trinkets in
his black hair, with a red bandanna to hold back his hair. He wears ragged clothes, which
really adds to the ‘pirate’ element.
