ABSTRACT
Voting system has been around for hundreds of years and despite different views on the integrity,
have always been deemed secure with some fundamental security and anonymity principles.
Numerous electronic system has been proposed and implemented but some suspicions has been
raised regarding the integrity of electronic due to detected security vulnerabilities within the
system. Electronic voting,to be successful, requires a more transparent and secure approach ,than is
offered by current protocols. The approach presented in this paper involves a protocols develop on
blockchain technology .The underlying technology used in the voting system is a payment
scheme, which offers anonymity of transactions, a trait not seen in blockchain protocals to date.
The proposed protocols offers anonymity of voter transactions, while keeping the transactions
private, and election transparent and secure. The underlying payment protocol has not been
modified in any way, the voting protocol merely offers an alternative use case.

CHAPTER-1
Background of the study
An electronic voting system is a voting system in which the election data is recorded, stored, and
processed using electronic devices such as computers and tablets. These systems are designed to
improve the accuracy, efficiency, and security of the voting process. Some advantages of
electronic voting systems includes,
Speed: Electronic voting systems can process votes faster than traditional systems, which reduces
the amount of time it takes to tally the results.
Accuracy: Electronic voting systems can reduce the risk of errors and fraud by providing a secure
and transparent way to record and count votes.
Convenience: Electronic voting systems can allow voters to cast their ballots from any location,
which can increase voter turnout.
Accessibility: Electronic voting systems can be designed to be accessible to voters with
disabilities, such as those who are blind or have low vision.
Despite these benefits, there are also some potential drawbacks to electronic voting systems. For
example;
Security concerns: Electronic voting systems can be vulnerable to hacking and other forms of
cyber attacks, which could compromise the integrity of the voting process.
Cost: Implementing an electronic voting system can be expensive, particularly if it involves
purchasing new hardware and software.
Dependence on technology: If the electronic voting system experiences technical issues, it could
disrupt the voting process and undermine confidence in the election.
Overall, electronic voting systems have the potential to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and
accessibility of the voting process. However, it is important for these systems to be designed and
implemented in a way that addresses security concerns and other potential challenges.

APPENDICES
Dear respondent,
We are the students of NAST. This questionnaire is for the research paper we are doing
for partial fulfillment of our Bachelor degree. It aims to see the effectiveness of electronic voting
machine in election process.
The procedure involves filling the questionnaires which will take approximately 5- 10
minutes. Your responses will be kept confidential and used only for the purpose of this
study. This is totally for academic purpose rather than any commercial activities. Your
response is highly appreciable for this study.
We pleased that you have provided time participating in this survey work and your
responses will be included in the research with due importance. If you have any queries
and want to know the conclusion of the research you can contact us. Please insert the
