THE MINUTES OF A MEETING, described in Unit 3, Section 3.5. SKILLS


FOCUS.

The minute of the meeting from 26.11.2021 between the members of AMPT( Monuments and
Tourist Heritage Administration, started at 09 AM.

At the main office of AMPT it took place a special meeting between 7 members from AMPT
committee , the professor Teodoroiu being absent because of a business trip. At the end of the
minute, It can be find the names and the signatures of all the participants, with the mention
that the chairperson of this meeting was the director of the Marketing department Aurora
Alexandru.
The main subject is about the project in progress “ Discover Bucharest’ , project to be
presented on 15.03.2021 in London at the Tourism Fair, which is an annual event., between 15-
18 March.
Bucharest City Hall it will be represented at WTM, with its own presentation stand, arranged by
AMPT inside the exhibition complex. The Administration of Monuments and Tourist Heritage
presented its tourist marketing module ’’Discover Bucharest’’!, A campaign to promote the
Capital as a city of cultural tourism, presenting during the event tha rich cultural-artistic and
entertainment offer of Bucharest.
Most important topics discussed were:
1. The details for the future meeting scheduled on 15 January 2022, where were invited to
participate the most important Romania tour operators ( Paralale, Christian,Prestige) as
well as Romanian Officials (Tarom, Blue-Air, Federantion of Employers from Tourism,
ANAT and other tourism associations)
-the HR department will be responsible with the organization of the meeting including
the place(details to accomplish : spacios enough for 25 persons, a conference room
with video projecter included, the accomodation of the members for one night)
-the Marketing assistant ms.Luca Maria will be the one responsible with the guests list,
list to be completed and send to the HR department until 15 December.

2. The slogan of the promotion campaign initiated by AMPT was ’’Why Bucharest for a City
Break?’’.
-the slogan was supported with consistent promotional material (albums,DVDs) and
brochures with tourist attractions from Bucharest-with translations in as many
international languages as possible .
- the PR department will be the one responsabile with the advertisement and the
promotional materials. On the meeting scheduled on 15 December, drafts of the
brochures have to be presented in order for the committee members to decide for the
final form.
3. Ms. Aurora Alexandru,director of Marketing department propose to contact a design
specialist from an Event organization company to be in charge with the stand
appereance from the tourism fair. The task has been assigned to ms. Anastasia Marcu.
