BSEE-2B
-The player failed to serve the ball. Failure to serve the ball over the net
successfully is a fault that gives the point to the opposing team.
- The player made two consecutive contacts with the ball. A ball touching the
body more than once in succession is considered a double hit and is illegal
except when played off a hard-driven spiked ball or blocked and played again by
the blocker.
-The player scratched the net. A volleyball player can’t make contact with the
net during the action of playing the ball. If you touched or made contact with the
net while jumping to hit, hitting, or landing, it will be called against you.
-The player crossed the centerline. Players are not allowed to cross the centerline
that divides the court in half.
-The ball hits the antennae. If the ball hits the antennae, the ball is ruled out of
bounds and the rally is over, which gives the point to the opposing team.
