● Three clear 0.75mL PET bottles

● E. coli and Coliform bacteria testing kits
● Metal roof
● Water from the market sold by vendors in metal barrels
● Sunlight (UV-A Radiation Rays)

Procedure
1. Remove wrappers from PET bottles.
2. Fill the bottles with 0.75mL of the sample water.
3. Label the three clear 0.75mL PET bottles (1, 2, and 3, respectively).
4. During the morning, when the sun is out, place the bottles (on their sides) on
a metal roof facing the sun.
5. After four hours, remove the first bottle and test the water using the E coli
and Coliform bacteria testing kits.
6. After nine hours, repeat step 5 with the second bottle.
7. After 24 hours, repeat step 5 with the last bottle.
