 The conquest of America is known as the process of invasion,
domination and expansion exercised by certain European
nations in the American continent since its discovery in 1492.

Main Facts
 1492 Cristobal Colón arrives at the island of Guanahaní on
October 12.
 There was a great importation and exportation of gastronomy
and treasures in America
 Local cultures, such as language, religion and dress, were
replaced by European ones.

Advantages
 The discovery of new trade routes, a great cultural exchange,
the mixing of races that gave rise to miscegenation and the
introduction of new animals and foodstuffs in America.

Disadvantages
 The arrival of new diseases brought by Europeans, slavery, the
plundering of American resources, the forced adoption of
Catholicism and the attempt to eradicate the indigenous
culture.
Conclusion
 In conclusion, it can be said that the conquest of America is an
event that constitutes one of the fundamental moments in
history and represents the evolution between two different
societies that independently managed to find each other.

OLD AGE
 Ancient history is the set of past events from the beginning of
writing and recorded human history extending back to Late
Antiquity. The span of recorded history is approximately 5,000
years, beginning with Sumerian cuneiform writing.
Main Facts
Of the most main facts are:
● At this time a new communication technique, writing, was
developed.
● Predominance of polytheistic religions
● The first laws, an advance in justice and democracy
● The creation of multiple empires that marked the history of
mankind

Advantages

spoon and scissors, among others, are advances of this era.
Writing: the oldest is cuneiform, a word that means in the
form of wedges. It arose in Mesopotamia, spreading from
Sumer to all of western Asia during the second millennium
before Christ.
Disadvantages
 Lousy hygiene, lousy hospital system, lousy transportation
system, horrible cities, workers without any insurance, bad
education.
Conclusion
 In conclusion, The ancient age is that historical stage in which
mankind took its first step to live in a more organized way
through communication by means of language and writing..

Middle age
 The Middle Ages is the historical period from the fall of
the Western Roman Empire (476) to the Discovery of
America (1492). This long historical period, also known
as feudalism, was a social, political and economic
organization based on land and vassalage.

Advantages
 Other great advances are the expansion and adoption of
gunpowder, paper and the water mill; as well as the invention
of the windmill, the mechanical watch, the compass,
spectacles and the button. In the military field, saddles, spurs
and stirrups, among many other discoveries, stand out.

Disadvantages
 The Middle Ages were very difficult for people due to harsh
conditions and continuous wars and also distinguished by the
division of their society into different social classes and they
were never able to abandon this
Conclusion
 In conclusion, the Middle Ages was a period of regression,
since as a society and humanity did not advance at all, this
was due to the expansion of territories, corruption, or the
importance of having money.
