Download

1. Click Download File and follow the remaining prompts to download the file.
2. When the File Download window appears, click Run to unzip the download package
into your hard drive.
3. The file explorer will open pointing to the directory containing the download
package. Please take note of the path.

1. Select the correct folder base on operating system as below
- From the folder of win64, if the operating system is Windows x64 bit
- From the folder of dos, if the operating system is Dos

2. Base on operating system

- For Windows x64, right click "wd7113_x64.exe" then select "Run as administrator"
to execute the file
- For Dos, type "wd7113.exe" then press ENTER

3. To check the drive firmware update was successful, open Device manager -> open
HDD -> click Properties -> choose hardware ID under Details and check the firmware
version, or use 3rd party software example like DiskCheckup.
