PROFILE
Pn Azizah
Electrical Engineering, UM
Azizah Kassim is a Director of a local company in Malaysia, an
energy professional with 17 years of working experience in
Energy Management, Renewable Energy, Green &
Sustainability, Facility Management and Project Management.
She graduated from University of Malaya (1996), in Electrical
Engineering and majoring in Electrical Power.
She is a Registered Electrical Energy Manager (REEM), Certified
Trainer (Train the Trainer, 2009) and a qualified Green Building
Index (GBI) Facilitator (GBIF, 2010).
Her career started in 1996 with Transmission Line Project
Management Company, PESB as Project Engineer for three (3)
years and followed with ECO Energy Sdn Bhd for another seven
(7) years as Senior Manager. She then joined multi-national
company, Johnson Controls Incorporation (JCI) for three (3)
years and KFM Holdings (M) Sdn Bhd as Energy and Green
Technology Manager for another 2 years. She later was
promoted to head a subsidiary of KFM Holdings Sdn Bhd i.e.
KFM Energy Services Sdn Bhd as General Manager for One (1)
year. The company’s core services was to execute Energy
Performance Contracting (EPC) and also provide services in
Consultancy and Training in Energy Efficiency and Renewable
Energy (EE & RE).

She is now focus in Consultancy and Training in Energy
Management System and Energy Audit.
She has developed sound skill in Green Building Index (GBI) &
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and sound
knowledge in local & international standards such as ASHRAE and
Malaysian Standards. Conducted over 30 building and industrial
energy audits, trained well over 150 professionals in Energy
Manager Training and involved in many working groups for the
Malaysian Government’s policy and regulation input.
She was appointed as Technical Advisor and Speaker for the
Malaysian Green Technology Corporation (MGTC) since 2010 to
train more than 100 Government Building Operators and End
Users in Putrajaya & Cyberjaya on “Sustainable Energy
Management Principle”. Currently, heading a team of qualified
trainers to develop new training module for MGTC to roll-out
similar trainings throughout Malaysia, following successful
outcome in Putrajaya & Cyberjaya.
She is currently pursuing an Expert Training program to become
Lead Auditor & Trainer
