How and Market is rapidly changing the trend, every time there is innovation that occur and from
why has the that small businesses/ retailers are benefitting from it and result to expansion of the
problem/ business. In this study social media marketing will be examined by E.M Rogers’
opportunity Diffusion of Innovation Theory. This theory established five adopter’s categories: (1)
emerged? Innovators, (2) Early Adopters, (3) Early Majority, (4) Late Majority, and (5) Laggards.
Researchers have found that people who adopt an innovation early have different
characteristics than people who adopt an innovation later. When promoting an
Related innovation to a target population, it is important to understand the characteristics of the
Study target population that will help or hinder adoption of the innovation.
