A. Do you agree that only research knowledge should be accepted as scientific knowledge?

Scientific knowledge which in other words is also known as accurate knowledge contains collection of laws,
theories and reliable information to help explain various types of phenomenon. On the flip side research
knowledge is a type pf knowledge acquired through an extensive process of research experiment following
protocols in order to gain relevant results. Upon defining the two, my answer is yes, for research knowledge
is credible enough to be considered as scientific knowledge and scientific knowledge alone.

b. Do you agree that all scientific knowledge should be based on facts and reality?

Yes it should be based on data limited to information that is reliable, real and facts and reality alone.

c. Differentiate hypothesis from research knowledge.

A hypothesis is the initial idea of how a research experiment outcome is expected which is based on the
initial prediction while research knowledge is the conclusion the sum of learnings and the total result after
the research is conducted.
Lesson 1.3:
1. Have a clip of a news article from a newspaper or even from radio or tv. Take note of the information
about the coronavirus. Tabulate some critical factors as the basis to eventually conclude its
authenticity. An example is given in the first row. Note: attach a copy of the material you critique.
