Below is point wise reply in red color of our quarries, please study and discuss

 On Page # 5 of Method of Statement item # 9 of Table 2 the Weir/ half-moon plate


(3mm thick), Please provide us the sectional drawings to know how it will install with
location?

Kindly discard this line item “wear / half-moon plate”


 On Page # 6 of Method of statement in Figure (Mounting of Oil level viewing window”
(visor glass), Provide the detailed drawings for more clarification.

1. Basically the function of “Oil Level viewing window” is to monitor  the oil level in
the bearing housing to avoid the overflow oil leakage/ damage of bearing due to
lack of oil.
2. Now for double oil outlet this window will be removed from housing and thereafter
no any option to monitor the oil level and therefore need to be fixed the same
windows with bearing house at recommended location as per site position /
location it can be differ project to project or machine to machine so as per drawing
may not fit.
3. Enclosed herewith the Two different project site picture for your reference only. No
need to copy same to same it can be as per position at your site / position/
location . Only maintain the center line of windows w.r.t. their existing center
(before removal ) for better monitoring if oil inside bearing housing.  
4. Some material can be differ from MOS-Table-3 as per site . A  Skilled Pipe Line fitter
can do it easily
 
     
 On Pag # 8 for providing running parameters to you for observations, Oil flow meter is
not installed as per original design? Please suggest how to measure the oil flow?
No need to measure in running condition,  discard it (this is our standard SOP),  however

need to be physically measure & set the require inlet oil flow of  bearing before
machine running , in case already set so need to disturb. Refer below procedure  for
physically measurement & setting of Oil flow
1. Disconnect the both DE & NDE oil inlet pipe from bearing housing and
connect flexible hose with end of disconnected pipe.
2. Other end of  hose need to be put in empty oil container / bucket at both DE
& NDE
3. Switch ON the MOP/EOP and collect the Oil in tank for one Minute (stop
watch can be used) and measured quantity of oil collected in the bucket (i.e.
LPM), in case measured LPM less/ more that can be set by regulating of
throttle valve and repeat the LPM measurement till; desired LPM

 On Page # 10 for BEARING & ALTERNATOR COMPARTMENT PRESSURE MEASUREMENT.


Pressure Measurement at different locations, hose, bearing, filter and stator
compartments, there are no pressure measuring instruments installed in original design.
Can you please provide the method for pressure measuring and a detail layout. It will be
more helpful if you can provide the P&I diagrams? Please provide the pics where
pressure measuring instruments are installed for air.

That is for measurement of negative / positive pressure  of  machine have such oil leakage
troubleshooting for root cause so need to install such pressure measurement instrument
permanently .  A negative pressure meter to be required for measuring of pressure at different
locations. Kindly refer following photographs which will helpful how to measure pressure
from instrument at different location.
