Objective

The purpose of this procedure is to define major steps to manage baggase yard.

Pre-checks / Visual inspection

 Baggase must be un-loaded in baggase yard, for both BC-1 or BC-3.


 At leat one dedicated person must be available in baggase yard to watch for feeding.
 Fire fightng hydrants must be in ready condition as baggase is flameable.
 Three tractors must be available for baggase feeding in conveyors.
 Two tractors must be available at BC-2 shoot, to collect baggase and distribute it uniformly.
 Smoking must be prohibited in yard.
 Any fire work must not be carried out in yard.
 Tractors must be switched “OFF” , if in idle condition in yard.

Note:

 Tractor must be availabble at BC-2 shoot, no matter whatever path is followed. i.e. BC-1
or BC-3.
 In case of emergency, for path changeover from BC-1 to BC-3 or vice versa, tractors can
be commanded to move to desired field to feed baggase.
