I. Course Description:

This course deals on the physical, psychological, and social


development and maturation that take place in adolescents. This involves
focusing attention upon their characteristics, the concerns they have, and
the network or relationships that depicts their society.

II. General Objectives:

1. Recognize the role of the school as a humanizing agent in the healthy


growth and development of adolescents in today’s society.
2. Demonstrate an understanding of the nature and dynamics of human
growth.
3. Find practical application of youth problems confronting the school
and society.
