Good morning my fellow inspiring entrepreneurs, your speaker for today is me, Rovelyn Cruz 18

years old I am currently pursuing my passion which is Bachelor of arts in marketing

management therefore everyone who is not taking this course the door is widely open you can
YEET yourself out, no I was just kidding everyone is entitled or welcome to participate in my
speech it doesn’t matter how old you are or there’s no specific age, gender, nationality or
profession to become a successful entrepreneurs.

In this speech I will try my very best to encourage you and influence you that each and every
one of us have the ability to be one.

The main topic of this speech is what does it take to be a successful entrepreneur?
For starter, I want to share with you a saying that I believed in and it's "When you reach an
obstacle, turn it into an opportunity. You have the choice. You can overcome and be a winner, or
you can allow it to overcome you and be a loser. The choice is yours and yours alone. Refuse to
throw in the towel. Go that extra mile that failures refuse to travel. It is far better to be exhausted
from success than to be rested from failure." By Mary Kay Ash, I just simply wish you to stand
when you fall and not to give up in your dreams because living is dreaming.

Being a successful entrepreneur requires more than just having a solid idea. Although it is
frequently the essential component, there are still a few prerequisites. To become a successful
entrepreneur, there of course are some basic rules you need to know before establishing your
business. First is you need to have enough money to get your business properly started.
Secondly, you need to think big, be innovative and be creative. Make sure you stay focused on
your vision, it will cost a lot of money if you're dilly dallying with your decision, make decisions
based on facts not on your emotion.

The following characteristic is the fundamental skills that an inspiring entrepreneur must
possess.

Confident communication
Entrepreneurs must persuasively present their services and products. They should be clear and
charismatic communicators, able to communicate the projects' unique selling qualities.

Observation skills
Entrepreneurs must be attentive since they are continuously looking for chances. They'll find
fresh opportunities by paying attention to details and remaining updated with business
developments/changes.

Open-mindedness
No matter how thorough and polished a business plan may be, outside influences might still
have an impact. A great business person can adopt a flexible outlook and remain open to other
possible paths to success.

A capability for collaboration/partnership

It’s extremely unlikely that any business owner will be able to oversee every aspect of their
organization by themselves. They must be able to determine, acquire, and retain other team
members who can contribute to their project and have complementary abilities.

According to Mark Rice, a dean in Babson Business School in Wilson, Massachusetts, to

become a successful entrepreneur, one of the smart moves to know if you're an entrepreneur is
building connections with investors, suppliers and especially with customers.

A motivation for your goal

It's certain that you'll encounter some challenging times as an entrepreneur. Even when things
are difficult, a genuine passion for what you do will keep you going. Additionally, it will motivate
people to take part in your endeavor.

According to the concept of Bill Gates is to never waver from your commitment and enthusiasm
for your work. The most successful people in the world, he claimed, genuinely enjoy what they
do. He said that you might not be in the proper field if you were experiencing stress and thought
your work was too difficult. He also says that if you mess up, it’s not your parents’ fault, so don’t
“whine” about your mistakes. Learn from them!

Self-discipline
It is entirely up to you how you devote your time when you run your own business. You'll follow
your plan and stick to the deadlines you need to meet to succeed if you have strong self-control.

And those are the basics but must possess characteristics if you want to be a successful
entrepreneur.

According to Forbes, most of the successful entrepreneurs possess the previously discussed
skills therefore I am encouraging every one of you to adopt and learn those said skills at this
early stage of our journey.

I hope five years and ten years from now, we get to meet as a business person, sealing a deal.
