COVID19 KWI ARRIVAL RULES AFTER 01AUG21 (per DGCA circular No.

30 dated
31JUL21)
Below general requirement will continue:-
● -VE PCR test cert. with 72hrs validity from time/date of swab (test) to the
time of acceptance on flight. Those less than 6 yrs old are exempted.
● Register on https://Kuwaitmosafer.gov.kw
● Download Shlonik App. (available on Google play or Play store)
Note - For domestic workers (Article 20) registration and payment of 14days hotel
quarantine and PCR test shall continue to be done before departure on
Belsalamah.com platform. No vaccination, no Shlonik and no mosafer registration
needed for them.

The following vaccination related new entry requirements shall be adhered from 01Aug. 21.
List of vaccinations & dose approved by Kuwait gov’t to be treated as immunized passenger.
- Pfizer BioNTech vaccine (two doses).
- AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine (two doses)
- Moderna vaccine (two doses).
- Johnson & Johnson vaccine (one dose).
1) Citizens and their first-degree relatives ( spouse /children ) and workers
accompanying them:
a) If immunized (fully or Partially vaccinated) in Kuwait,
● must present their vaccination status as GREEN or YELLOW. Color in MOH's
immune/Kuwait mobile ID application before departure. (Apps available on play store or google
Play)
● are subject to 7days home quarantine (can pay and do PCR test after arrival to stop the quarantine
before due date)

b) If immunized (fully Vaccinated) outside Kuwait but with the Kuwait approved vaccines,

● must upload their vaccination cert. on MOH website

● They will be subject to 7days home quarantine (can pay and do PCR test after arrival to stop the
quarantine before due date)

c) If Vaccinated outside Kuwait but with the non-Kuwait approved vaccines, they will be treated as non-
immunized.

d) Non-immunized
● MOH Immune/Kuwait mobile ID Apps. show vaccination status as
RED
● must pay for 2 PCR tests and 7 days institutional quarantine at approved
hotels on Kuwait Mosafer link https://Kuwaitmosafer.gov.kw
● are also subject to 7 days home quarantine, if free from COVID19 when
tested after the hotel quarantine.
● The below are exempted from hotel quarantine
1.Diplomats , thier 1st degree families nd accompanied domestic workers
2.Kuwaiti patients treated abroad and thier companions
3.Govt nd private medical staff , their 1st degree families , nd accompanied domestic workers
4. Minors travelling unaccompanied

2) Non-Kuwaitis

a) Must be immunized (i.e fully vaccinated with Kuwait approved vaccines listed above and get
Kuwait MOH approval of their vaccination)
b) If immunized inside Kuwait they
● must present vaccination status with GREEN color in immune /Kuwait mobile ID App.
● are subject to 7days home quarantine (can pay and do PCR test after arrival to stop the
quarantine before due date)
c) If immunized outside Kuwait with above listed Kuwait approved vaccines

● Must upload their vaccination cert on MOH website

electronic verification (QR code) and GREEN STATUS on immune App. to prove that vaccination is
electronically approved by MOH before boarding (This process takes minimum of 3 days)

● are subject to 7days home quarantine (can pay and do PCR test after arrival to
stop the quarantine before due date)

d) if non immunized - must present special approval from min. of Council as to vaccination exemption,
quarantine conditions and shall be seen case by case to secure OK TO BOARD (OKTB) from Kuwait
Immigration Authority (unless Article 20/domestic workers as mentioned on top who can enter as non
immunized)

Please use below link to see if a passenger is vaccinated or not, if PCR and hotel fees
paid or not. (Information can be obtained per flight (using flight no ) or per passenger
(using ppt details) )
