FOR THE COMING ASIAN GAMES

Hosting the Asian Games is not simple. Host country have to prepare a
lot of things for the successful Games. I am going to show you some problems
we need to improve to host the coming Asian Games.
First of all, it is about the stadium. Our country only has one National
Stadium – My Dinh Stadium which is in awful condition. The quality of the
grass and facilities is seriously degraded. We need to build at least one more
National Stadium, upgrade the old one and local stadiums. In addition, we
have to widen the training areas, sports buildings, and the roads. Besides, as
athletes and visitors from around the world will come, there is a huge
opportunity for tourism and economic development of the country. To leave
them a good impression, we have to be aware of accommodations,
restaurants, and hospitals. They must be equipped with modern facilities and
good quality to welcome foreign athletes and visitors (also special services for
disabled athletes). It is necessary to promote and advertise all the preparations
for the sports festivals on TV and social media so the viewers can follow the
athlete’s journey to reach medals. Last but not least, volunteers play an
important role in the success of sports festivals. We need to recruit volunteers
to serve the events and interact with athletes and visitors. The volunteers can
be students, teachers, or anyone with good foreign language, especially
English.
In conclusion, there are still more things to improve besides the ones
mentioned above. However, I hope we will try our best to have a memorable
sports festival.
