Law nº 11.972, of July 6, 2009 
 
Modifies  Law  n°9.782,  of  January  26,  1999,  to  dispose  of  the  Certification  of  Good 
Manufacturing Practices for health‐related products, subject to Health Surveillance. 
 
Article  1°  The  deadlines  for  renewal  of  Good  Manufacturing  Practices  certificate  for  products 
subject to health surveillance, related on sub‐items of items 1.4, 2.4, 4.3, 6.4, 7.2 and 7.3 of Law 
n°9.782,  annex  II  with  written  given  by  Temporary  Measure  n°2.190‐34,  of  January  26,  2001, 
will be changed to 2 (two) years. 
 
Paragraph 1 ‐ For the renewal of Good Manufacturing Practices certificate, in years when are 
not scheduled an inspection, the establishment must perform self‐inspection, in accordance to 
regulation and submit the report to the national health authority, with submission of Payment 
record of specifying fees. 
 
Paragraph 2 ‐ The Good Manufacturing Practice Certificate awarded in accordance to this article 
can  be  cancelled  whenever  is  verified  by  the  health  authority  by  non‐compliance  with  good 
practices. 
 
Article 2º ‐ This Resolution becomes effective on the date of its publication.
