COVID Guidelines and Vaccination Requirements : COVID test/vaccination rules: Itâs mandatory for all travellers
entering Jharkhand to either carry a final COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done) OR a negative RT-PCR
report with a sample taken within 72 hours before arrival. RT-PCR test timeline starts from the swab collection
time. Thermal screening will be done for all arriving travellers. Travellers might not be allowed to board their
flights if they are not carrying a valid test report/vaccination certificate. Quarantine rules: Passengers are advised
to self-monitor health for 14 days. Mandatory 7-day home quarantine for all passenger arriving in the state of
Jharkhand. Following traveller categories are exempted from the mandatory 7-day home quarantine period:
Travellers who have a return journey within 72 hours from the arrival into the state of Jharkhand. Travellers
passing through the state during interstate movement. Government of India officials on official duty. Travellers
who undertake daily interstate travel for purpose of mining/industrial/agriculture/health care related activities.Pre-
registration or e-pass rules: Download and update the Aarogya Setu app, all travellers are required to register on
the Government of Jharkhandâs official website and travellers must submit a self-declaration test upon arrival.
