Hi, how are you? I hope everything is ok back home.

Around here everything is fine. I was welcomed in my accommodation better than I expected.
it is spacious flat with a room for me and another one for my companion, who also happens to
be super nice, a bathroom and a kitchen.

I loved getting to know my new school, and I was welcomed in a way that I never expected to
be, although it was difficult at first, because it was strange not to know anyone. But with time
everything went by and now I have many friends. It is a big school, with many classrooms,
many bathrooms and three cafeterias. The teachers received me very well without ever
discriminating against me for being a refugee, just like my classmates.

My adaptation to the Portuguese culture has been a little difficult, because it is very different
from mine. Also, the language is a bit difficult but everyone is very friendly, and helps me. And
I have already learnt many words and sentences! I am certain that with time I will overcome
all these barriers and I will adapt to this culture as if it were my own.

I am loving being here and getting to know the people and culture here,
