2.1.1 Regulatory Code Analyses

Project Goals:

To become more familiar with the 2012 Ontario Building Code as applied to your Health and Wellness Project and all Barrier-free
codes and door widths shall be accommodated in the 2012 Ontario Building Codes or in the (available on-line).
You may use the 2012 OBC if you have access to this publication.

To research reference regulatory code requirements and incorporate these codes in the production of building permit ready construction
drawings. This information shall be found within the Notes: section of your construction drawings as well as in Section 2.1.1 of the
RD&S Manual.

4.0 ONTARIO BUIDING CODE REVIEW


4.1.0 CORRIDORS: 3.3.1.9. THE MIN. WIDTH OF A PUBLIC CORRIDOR SHALL BE 1100 (3’ – 7 ½”)
