    Approach
    We use packaged food every day and we have to look for the ingredients whether it’s
    harmful to our body or not. Sometimes, Packaged food may cause some allergies or
    immune disease are increasing.

    So the problems which will be solved by our OCR-based application are people will be able
    to identify whether the packaged food contains some ingredients which can harm them by
    scanning the packaged food.

    Abstract
    we propose a system to check whether the packaged food in hand contains harmful
    ingredients for the user by simply taking the picture of the list of ingredients printed on the
    envelope of product. The main merit of this approach is that it’s independent of the
    database of the packaged foods, and hence no need to gather food information and
    maintain the database.

    We can also train the machine learning model on the allergies dataset which will give prior
    warning to the user Like which allergies can be caused by this food.
