This document is an introduction to a student project investigating the effects of ironing once per week versus daily for a month. It includes the student's name, school, subject, and teacher. The project title is stated as "To investigate the effect of ironing once per week for a month vs ironing every day." The introduction explains that some students iron daily while others iron weekly, and the project aims to see which approach is more economical by comparing electricity bills for the two methods over one month. The method of data collection will involve the student collecting the electricity bills for a home that irons daily for a month and the same home ironing weekly for a month, which will be presented in a table and analyzed using

INTRODUCTION

As a student of Three Miles Secondary School the

researcher noticed that some of the other students prefer
to iron daily for a month while others iron once a week
for a month, by knowing this the researcher became
interested in which of these is the better approach. The
purpose of this project was to determine if ironing once a
week for a month is more economical as compared to
ironing every day for a month. The electricity bill of a
person who irons every day will be compared to the same
person that will iron once a week per month. Electricity is
a natural phenomenon that can be used to energize
equipment and power electronics namely irons. It can be
identified as current or electric current, which is measured
in kilowatt-hour. This SBA will help the researcher in
developing various math skills such as polishing
calculating skills.

METHOD OF DATA COLLECTION

The researcher plans to obtain the information for this

project, by collecting a series of Data. Such data will be
presented in a table and necessary findings will be applied
using appropriate statistical diagrams. Firstly, the
researcher will iron every day in a week for a month and
then collect the bill of that home. Secondly, for the same
month the researcher will then iron all the necessary
clothes for that week in one day and do the same
throughout that month after which she will gather the bill
for that same house. This information will be presented in
a data collection sheet and showed and compared using
statistical diagrams. A sample of the data collection sheet
can be seen below:
