Before volcanic eruptions occur in your area, local

authorities inform the citizens of the surrounding area or the


hot spot with certain what to-dos before the eruption will
occur. you must prepare yourself with emergency needs like aid
kits, containing foods, flashlights, face masks, radios, medical
products, and anything you need to bring for your condition. Go
to the evacuation area if alerted, as quickly as possible before
the eruption will take place, if indoors, keep your doors shut
and windows closed.
During the eruption, people are advised to wear a face mask,
wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants, keep calm, stay alert,
and prepare for what is next to happen. After an eruption, when
it is said to be safe outside, clear your roofs and gutters from
ashes as heavy loads and piles of ashes can collapse your roofs,
if otherwise stay indoors as possible away from volcanic
ashfalls, tunes in to alerts, and stay away from the near
volcanic site.

VOLCANIC ERUPTIONS:

 Ask the patient if he or she is okay, confirm that he or she is in consciousness, and
ask whether which part hurts to furtherly identify.

 Seek a professional’s help to ensure the health of the victim and to further assess
the injury.

 Bring the patient or the victim to the safest place possible, call an ambulance and
try to keep him/her stable.

 Gently assess and help the victim to move or in any movement, thus not to cause
more pain or panic.

 Be sympathetic and try to comfort the victim, so as to also be tactful not to frighten
him/her from his/her current situation.
