Many people go to university for academic study. More people should be
encouraged to do vocational training because there is lack of qualified workers
such as electricians and plumbers.
Discuss both views and give your opinion.

The debate over the selection of academic educational programs or vocational
training courses has become a dilemma matter around the public and personal
interest. While I concede that encouraging to enroll in academic pursuit is
advantageous to several extent. From my perspective, both of these views have
arguments for and against, and this essay will discuss these viewpoints and my
position, I believe vocational training programs should be promoting the economic
resources of the country as well as consolidate the work experience more firmly.

It is undeniable fact that there is certain ground supporting encouraging scholastic

pursuit at further educations or universities. On an individual level, the evidence
that deserves the most attention and priority is knowledge-intensive ensures the
creation of generations of outstanding intellectuals, they could be able to
understand and put theory into practice smoothly. From the societal perspective,
this type of education would be promoted young students who can become good
professionals and contribute to the country and society, not only making the state
budget increase dramatically but also bringing the developments of science and
technology in all aspects of the host country to the continents of the world. In
addition, there is the harsh reality that academic courses are extremely essential for
the development of science and technology of our country, it brings numerous
profits as well as helps the skills and research of the young students becoming
more and more prominent.

Notwithstanding these arguments, I am convinced that vocational training courses

should be recognized as the key to the workforce supply question. To begin with,
cultivating professional skills knowledge is also an extremely the necessary factor
for strengthening human resources for the country, partly to avoid unemployment
as well as lack of resources workers across the country. Furthermore, the pursuit of
expertise in particular in manual professions would bring individuals extensive job
and career development opportunities which might be significantly more limited in
intellectual fields. Moreover, the participation in vocational training programs
could be helped the government to reduce the imbalance of the labor force and
save a plethora of the State budget in paying the costs of the unemployed and give
them a better life.

By the way of conclusion, although it might seem sensible for promoting college
education, I personally prefer that priority should be given to vocational education
courses, making it the nucleus of the workforce development.
